As one of the cost effective machining method for alumina ceramic, Ultrasonic drilling hasattracted much more attention and there exist a numerous publication on the process. However littleinvestigation on surface roughness and cylindricity in the Ultrasonic Drilling has been reported. Thispaper presents an experimental observation on surface roughness and cylindricity using threedifferent slurry like Silicon carbide, Boron carbide and Alumina and keep frequency and thickness asinput parameter and tool diameter as constant parameter. L9 orthogonal array is made forexperimental design with the help of Taguchi method. Using TOPSIS Optimization methodsconclude that when the frequency was increased and the thickness was decrease getting the optimumresult for all slurry.
