An investigation of the effect of plasma treatment on air permeability, water vapour permeability and thermalresistance of plain and twill weave cotton fabrics is reported. It is noticed that air permeability, water vapour permeabilityand thermal resistance show a significant increase for the plasma treated fabric. The results suggested that the plasmatreated fabrics are more suitable materials for managing incontinences for medical textiles
