Abstract
This paper presents a review on the pedestrian detection and tracking. Detection and tracking of pedestrianshave been of prominent importance for the several applications like traffic monitoring, public safety, and mobile monitoringand event detection. The basic thing in detection of the objects is to detect the objects in motion and tracking it for the furtherprocesses. This paper emphasize on detection and tracking of humans which is known as pedestrian and throws light on theexisting techniques for pedestrian detection.
