Abstract
The Internet protocol television (IPTV) is one of the most promising application in next generationnetworks.IPTV mainly offers live television , Time-shifted media , Video on demand services.It can be viewed in normaltelevision using Set-top box and in mobile devices by using Wi-MAX base station.The proposed method uses the Hot-viewchannel and Personal favorite channel preloading to reduce the delay in channel switching.
