Abstract

An ultrasonic flow meter is a type of flow meter in which two ultrasonic water coupled piezoelectric
transducers are mounted on the pipe, that measures the frequency shift caused by the liquid flow. These transducers emit the
ultrasound pulses and by averaging the time difference between the pulses of ultrasound measures the frequency shift from
the Doppler’s shift effect. the time difference is calculated by GP22ASIC and generated digital signal is processed by
microcontroller and flow rate is being displayed on the LCD. The main thing in this ultrasonic flow meter is that the GSM
communication is possible so human interruption is avoided
