Abstract

The dual converter with circulating current mode has been proposed to meet the high-power requirement of the
four-quadrant dc power supplies. A four quadrant closed-loop speed controlled dc motor drive fed from the proposed dual
converter is designed, constructed, and tested. The experimental results obtained are shown to be in good agreement with
theory. The proposed control scheme can solve the problems of zero crossing miss by experimental test.
