Risk management in infrastructure projects

Abstract

Project manager performed important role in management of risk. But this job should be performed at the
start of the project, if not then it becomes quite challenging. A proper and structured methodology and on top of that,
expertise and experience is required for an actual and useful risk management approach. The efficiency of projects is
seriously affected by poor risk management practicesof owner, client, and the contractor. In this paper discussion on
the issues of risk management in infrastructure projects and fundamental research on introduction of risk analysis and
its application is carried out. The process of risk management will be covered in depth in the paper.
