Abstract

The main objective of this thesis is to identify optimum parameter for micro drilling on
carbide (K20) material using Micro EDM. To achieve this first experiments are performed by full
factorial design. DOE is used for full factorial design. Output parameters like MRR, EWR and
Taperness are calculated from experimental result. These parameters are compared with each other for
finding our optimum values of parameters. With the help of ANOVA percentage contribution of
process parameter on output parameters is generated using MINITAB 16 software. Finally, from
ANOVA plot optimum value are found out and noted.
