This paper present an analysis on the unified Power quality conditioner (UPQC) to improve the electric power qualityatdistribution levels. Conventional power quality mitigation equipment is a providing to be poor for an increasing number ofapplications. Different approaches in compensation and recent developments in fields. Single modern and very promisingsolution that deal with both load current and supply voltage inadequacy is the Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC). Thisis intended to present a broad overview on the different possible UPQC system configurations for single -phase (two-wire) andthree-phase (three-wire and four-wire) networks.
