Abstract
This paper presents a study of hybrid effects on the mechanical properties of bamboo/polyester blendedyarns. Most of the interactions are found to be negative and insignificant. Neps and yarn friction show positiveinteraction. Linear regression analysis is also found to be good in predicting the properties. Addition of polyester fibre toblends has led to an improvement of properties.
