-Team synchronization and stabilization areessential especially for large software projects. However,often little is done to assess and reduce the uncertaintiesand knowledge gaps that exist within the project. As theproject progresses through its life cycle, the team can gainmore information about the project and team’s capabilities.These necessary data can be obtained through performingassessments on the team and project. As theseassessments procedures are often complex, discouraging,and difficult to analyze, an effective framew ork and toolsupport can greatly enhance the process. Hence, withimproved assessment method software project teams canquickly gather the necessary data, determine the actions toimprove performance, and result in an improved projectoutcome in the end. The A COntinious Project EvaluationProcess MOdel (COPEPMO) is a framework developed toeffectively improve team synchronization and stabilizationas well as project effort estimation and scoping by enablingsoftware development teams to quickly track projectprogress, continuously assess team performance, andmake adjustments to the project estimates as necessary.
