To attract the viewers into paying to see fullmovie, the creation of movie trailers is an essential part ofmovie industry. Action scene is the main factor of a movietrailer. In this paper, we propose an automatic action sceneextraction algorithm using finite state machine based onanalyzing audio-visual features. The input video is firstdecomposed into shot. Then audio features compute andapplied to support vector machine in order to determinewhether it is speech, silence or music. ExtractedAudiovisual features are to feed into finite state machine inorder to determine action scene classification from othersscene.
