—Fly Ash Concrete applies to engineered concretesystems which have fly ash as a partial replacement ofcement. Concrete which has fly ash content more than 35%by mass of the cementitious materials content is termed asHigh Volume Fly Ash Concrete.Itisrecommendedovertheordinaryconcreteasitconsiderablysavescementandalsopreventsenvironmentalpollution.Theuseoffibersimprovesspecificmaterialpropertiesoftheconcrete,impactresistance,flexuralstrength,toughness,fatigueresistance,andductility.Inthispaperanattemptismadetostudythemechanical propertiesofHighVolumeFlyAshConcretewithadditionoffibersat0.1,0.2,and0.3%ofcementandwith50%flyashreplacementwithcement.Itisfoundthatfiberadditions haveincreaseditsstrengthcharacteristicsconsiderably overtheordinarycementconcrete.
