One of the problems created by road traffic isparking. Not only do vehicles require street space tomove about, but also do they require space to park.Every vehicle owner would wish to park theirvehicles closely as possible near to their destinationso to minimize their walking. This results in a greatdemand for parking space in the CBD where theactivities are concentrated.In Modasa town due to the lack of parking facilitieson the busy corridor faces the parking problems likedelay of vehicles travel time, congestions,accidents, no utilization of footpaths.This paper reports the on-street parking behaviorand the analysis of parking space demand study onthe busy corridor of Modasa town and someremedial measures to overcome these problems.
