- Electrical energy is one of the most importantfactors for the developments of any country. But thegeneration of electrical energy is not possible at anyplace. So, to provide electricity from source to loadtransmission line is needed. Generally two types oftransmission line are available. I) Overhead transmissionline & II) Undergrond transmission line. This paper showsthe benefits of underground line over overhead line.Overhead transmission line has some drawbacks andincreases the efficiency & reliability of transmission lineunderground transmission line is takes place. There aredifferent types of underground cables are available fortransmission of electrical power. Here three types ofunderground cables are given.So, this paper shows the details of different kindof cables and one is suit able for the long transmissionline and
