Digital signage is an emerging new communicationtechnology. It is expected to play an important role in today’sdynamic world as digital signage displays timely information,while reducing the environmental costs associated withtraditional printed signage. In this paper, it is aimed todevelop a user–friendly, web–based, cheap, effective andcompact sized digital signage system which can be controlledand modified by the users. Digital signage system design isbased on various methods of using computer and televisionscreens as well as other kinds of display devices in ways thatare as efficient as possible to provide advertising andinformation to people in public areas. The goals of this studyare broadcasting information, advertisements at display contentsin public areas such as; subways, buses, malls, city squares andcontrol these digital signs remotely.
