These days wind farms are built far out in the sea, which is advantageous from power generation point of view.Voltage Source Converter (VSC) based HVDC transmissionwhich uses IGBTs and extruded DC cables is a latest HVDCtechnology used for low power transmission which easilyintegrates wind farms and solar farms to the grid. VSC-HVDCbased system get high speed control of both active and reactivepower with good controllability. This paper based on analysis ofdifferent type voltage source converter and proposed buck boostinverter based transmission System
