Voltage flicker is problems and much attention has been paid to it lately. Due to the latest achievement in thesemiconductors industry and voltage variation at the common point of supply to other consumers. FACTS device havebeen gradually noticed to be used for voltage flicker compensation our project base with the voltage flicker mitigation inthree stages and assessing the related results in details. Initially, modeled a distribution static synchronous compensator(D-STATCOM) is used to regulate voltage on a 25kv distribution network. Secondly, the variable load will be keptconstant observe the dynamic response of a D-STATCOM to step changes in source voltage. Later voltage of theprogrammable voltage source will be kept constant an enable modulation of the variable load so that, observe how theD-STATCOM can mitigate voltage flicker.
