The aim of this project is to develop a low voltage & high voltage tripping mechanism to protect the loadfrom damage. The fluctuation in ac supply is frequent in homes and industries. The sensitive electronic devices in theseconditions can get easily damaged. It is preferable to have a tripping mechanism to protect the load. This proposedsystem will trip the load in the event of the input voltage falling below and above a set value. The relays are used forsense the fault. If the input voltage increase beyond the set value then relay will operate and cut off the load for safetyreasons and alarm beeps. So as the alarm beeps stand by machine activates and faulty machine is taken for maintenance.A lamp is used as a load in this project. The concept in future can be extended by interfacing with a GSM modern toconvey alert message to the user via SMS to take appropriate action.
