Comparison with conventional material removal manufacturing technologies, rapid prototyping is a layerbased material additives process and can manufactures a 3-D object with a CAD-defined geometric model directly. Dueto their comparatively high yeilding and flexibility, however, they have also been used in many manufacturingapplications. This process is highly effected by powder and laser parameters such as laser power, scan rate, layerthickness. The objectives of this research is to enhance the performance of the SLS process by optimizing the control ofprocess parameters that have very strong effect on the quality of the part. Therefore a study on manufacturing a partwith CL91RW powder has been performed by selective Laser CUSING on process parameter Orientation and layerthickness. In order to determine critical states of the sintering parameters, analysis of variances has applied whileoptimization of the parameters affecting the surface quality and dimension accuracy were investigated.
