The aim of this present study is to design a wheelchair with sensor communicator system that could operatethe wheelchair with the help of head movement. The targeted people for this study are handicapped person andquadriplegic and disabled person as this could be operated easily through head motion sense. Present study also focuseson reducing the overall cost to make it economically available. This system could be used by physically disable personswho cannot move their hands or legs but are able to make head movement. This wheelchair could be operated in anydirection using head tilt movements by the handicapped person. Design and development of head motion controlledwheelchair can be achieved by using different kind of sensors and communicator modules along with mechanicalcomponent such as high torque DC motor. The system is feasible and works well with a person sitting on it.
