Composite column consisting Concretefilled steel tubes have become increasingly popular instructural application around the composite Concretefilled steel tubes are economic column type, themajority of axial load type is resisted by the concrete, which is less expensive than steel. Further, economiccan be obtain by using high strength concrete with thinwalled steel tubes using just sufficient steel to supports.the construction load prior to filling with concretecomposite column consisting of Concrete-filled steeltubes of traditional concrete filled column, the problemof concrete cover spoiling can be avoided, furthermore, inward buckling of the steel is prevented by the steelcore , thus increasing the stability and the strength. ifthe column as a system. the improved strength of thecircular steel tubes filled with concrete is to theinfluence of bond strength between the steel tubes andconcrete rather than lateral restrain and the strength ofcircular steel tubes can be significantly influence bylocal buckling. the local buckling has been consider byrestricted the allowable diameter to thickness ratio. For compression member l/d < 50The main aim of this study was to increase theknowledge of structural behavior of composite columnconsisting of circular hallow steel section filled withconcrete. The main topic of insert were to study how thebehavior of column was influenced byο· The bond strength between the steel tubes andthe concrete core.ο· The increase concrete compressive strengthdue to confinement of steel andο· Compare of behavior of CFST concrete, sandfilled steel tube and hollow steel tube.
